Why did you choose Tuet deep surface for the interiors of Navetta 62?

Tuet in Galea Beige was used to cover the upper part of the walls in the bow bathroom. We chose it as a way of giving the space a feeling of movement and to echo the ribbed motif used elsewhere in the boat’s interiors, creating stylistic continuity with the rest of the project.

Paired with Tuet, Marmo Canova and Noce Carya create an elegant warm-cool contrast effect in the bow bathroom. Were you looking for that when you combined these materials?

Yes, we intended for our design to strike a balance between lighter surfaces, capable of brightening up and visually expanding the space, and warmer flooring which could contrast yet harmonise with the parquet in the rest of the bathroom.

How important is the aesthetic and tactile experience in the interior design of a yacht?

Both are crucial. Boat owners are increasingly demanding, particularly about the quality of their interiors. The tactile dimension, in addition to the visual one, is now being explored more than ever before.
