Arpa adc opens in El Born, Barcelona

The new architecture and design centre: an inspirational space dedicated to surfaces, finishes and decors.

Arpa Industriale opened a new architecture and design centre in Barcelona. Following in the footsteps of the successful Arpa adc in New York and the architecture and design districts (Arpa add) in Pesaro and Bra (Italy), which opened in 2010, the new adc takes the concept one step further by featuring the innovative and aesthetically outstanding products and solutions offered by both Arpa Industriale and its sister company Trespa International. Both companies operate independently, with Arpa focusing on decors and finishes dedicated to interior design while Trespa concentrates on exterior double skin cladding applications for ventilated façades. However, both companies share a similar vision of innovation and aesthetics.

Arpa adc sees the task of the architecture and design centre to encompass some of the following activities:
- Present the Arpa product offer;
- Present the Arpa service offer;
- Create relationships within the territory;
- Create synergies with partners;
- Offer a privileged contact with architects and designers;
- Stimulate innovation and the experimentation in many applications;
- Present new trends via new products;
- Train and inform.

Arpa adc is a flexible relationship hub, which can be created in different territories, districts and environments rich in project culture. Barcelona has a stunning architectural heritage and represents a dynamic place for contemporary architecture and industrial design.

Arpa adc is located in El Born, a stylish and modern district at the forefront of fashion and design. It is the most fashionable neighborhood of Barcelona and it offers a wide range of leisure and culture. Many designers and artists are located in El Born creating the new styles for tomorrow.

Arpa adc wants to be an inspirational space where architects and designers can experience surfaces, finishes and decors for their projects dedicated to interiors: Naturalia, the new environmentally sound material made of wood fibre, Arpa for You, a stock collection of 311 HPL for interior design applications with a fast delivery program and Arpa for Kitchen, a specific collection for the kitchen created thanks to the Arpa expertise. Designers will be intrigued by the new Corallo finish (with its delicate coral embossing) or Mika finish (recreating a natural effect of quartz release in cut stone).

In order to propose the creativity of new design concepts, Arpa adc visitors can discover the Arpa Experience created by Arpa Lab, the Curiosity Table in Naturalia by Studio Schoot and also touch the Curiosity Kitchen in HPL and wood by PeLiDesign studio.

The aim of the architecture and design centre is to inspire the design community to consider Arpa and/or Trespa products for their projects and to become a meeting place for architects from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Europe.
